What matters in our work
Fast and readable on every screen
We design for phones and larger screens, with clear routes to the information visitors need. Page structure and images are considered together to keep the experience light and responsive.
Less work to update and maintain
Depending on the purpose of the site and who will update it, we can propose a lightweight setup that does not depend on WordPress. For sites with ongoing news or project updates, a browser-based editing workflow can also be included.
A clear plan beyond launch
We clarify the roles of the domain, hosting environment, and any external services, including the likely ongoing costs and management tasks. Our default is for the client to own the site data and primary accounts.
Process
- Initial conversation — We discuss the purpose, current problems, and desired launch date.
- Scope — We organise the pages, functions, copy, and images needed.
- Proposal and estimate — You receive a proposed scope, price, and schedule.
- Content preparation — We confirm copy, photography, logos, and other material.
- Structure and design — You review the information structure and visual direction.
- Production — The approved design is implemented across screen sizes.
- Review and revisions — You review a private preview before launch.
- Launch and handover — We launch the site and explain updates and ongoing management.
Pricing
After discussing the project, we provide an estimate covering production and any external-service costs required after launch. A lightweight setup can often keep ongoing fixed costs modest, depending on the size and functions of the site.
If any charge applies during consultation or estimation, we will explain it before starting that work.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get in touch before the content is decided?
Yes. We can start with why the site is needed and who it should reach, then work out the pages and information together.
What if my copy and photography are not ready?
We will identify what is missing and agree who will prepare it. If copywriting or photography is included, its scope and cost will be explained in advance.
Can I update the site myself?
We will propose an approach based on what needs updating. For infrequent changes, an assisted update arrangement may also be suitable.
Can you work with WordPress?
This depends on the project. WordPress or a specialist service may be a better fit for complex memberships or sites strongly tied to existing plugins.
Can you add booking or online sales?
Our starting point is usually a link to, or integration with, an established booking or commerce service. Custom booking, inventory, and payment systems require separate evaluation.
New websites and rebuilds are welcome, even when the idea is still taking shape.
